Studio buildout consulting

Build a studio your team will actually use.

Turn a spare room, office, or dedicated space into an easy-to-operate podcast and video studio. We design the system, recommend the gear, set up the workflow, and train your team so recording content does not feel like running a control room.

The real problem

Buying gear is not the same as building a content room.

Most studios fail because the setup is too complicated, the room is designed around specs instead of use, and nobody owns the workflow after the first exciting test recording.

01

The gear has to match the behavior.

A founder recording solo needs a different system than a four-person podcast table. We design around what you will actually record and who has to operate it.

02

The room needs a repeatable workflow.

Cameras, audio, lighting, software, file naming, backups, and handoff all need a simple operating path. Otherwise the studio becomes a room everyone avoids.

03

The operator needs confidence.

The point is not to build the fanciest system possible. The point is to build the highest-quality system your team can run consistently without panic.

01
Two buildout paths

Pick the studio system that matches the job.

Both packages are professional service fees. Equipment, software, furniture, contractors, travel, lodging, meals, and pass-through costs are separate unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Home studio system

For founders who need clean content without a full studio footprint.

$5,000 one-time

A simple, high-quality room for solo videos, coaching content, remote interviews, and lightweight podcast capture.

  • Strategy consult around content goals, room, and operating skill level
  • Equipment recommendation and purchase plan
  • Camera, audio, lighting, and software workflow design
  • Setup support for a practical home or office studio system
  • Recording workflow, file handoff process, and operator training
  • Best for solo or two-person capture
How it works

A studio build should feel like a handoff, not a scavenger hunt.

The process moves from strategy to gear to setup to training, so the room is ready for real recording, not just a successful test day.

01

Map the use case.

We confirm the room, content goals, operator, budget, guests, and what “easy to use” needs to mean for your team.

02

Build the equipment plan.

You get a practical gear list and system map before purchases happen, so the camera, audio, lighting, and software decisions work together.

03

Set up the recording workflow.

We configure the system around repeatable recording, file handoff, backups, and the path from raw footage to published content.

04

Train the operator.

Your team learns how to start the room, record, avoid common mistakes, and get footage into the next step without guessing.

02
Optional monthly support

Keep the room producing after the build.

A finished room is only useful if content keeps moving through it. Add strategy, editing, and distribution support when you want Pod Bros to help keep the machine alive.

The build creates the room. Support keeps it useful.

Your studio should become part of the business rhythm, not another tool nobody has time to manage. These add-ons keep strategy, editing, and publishing attached to the room after it is installed.

Client proof

See the production standard clients experience with Pod Bros.

Scott Carpenter trusted Pod Bros for his podcast and brand growth. The studio buildout offer is built from that same operating standard: clear audio, clean video, repeatable workflow, and a room people can actually use.

03
Best fit if

You want studio control without the tech burden.

01

You already know content matters.

You want more video, podcast, or training content, but booking studios and coordinating gear keeps slowing you down.

02

You need repeatable quality.

The room should produce consistent audio, lighting, framing, and footage without rebuilding the setup every time.

03

You do not want to become the tech person.

The system needs to be simple enough for your team to run, even when the most technical person is not in the room.

04

You care about the whole workflow.

The recording room, file handoff, edit process, and publishing path all need to connect or the studio will stop compounding.

Common questions

About studio buildouts.

Is equipment included in the price?

No. The package price is the professional fee for strategy, design, setup support, workflow, and training. Equipment, software, furniture, contractors, travel, lodging, and meals are separate unless specifically included in the written agreement.

Do you travel for studio builds?

Yes. Travel can be scoped into the agreement or handled as a pass-through expense depending on the project. Builds outside the Scottsdale/Phoenix area are quoted with travel, lodging, meals, and schedule requirements clearly separated.

Can you work with gear we already own?

Yes. We will audit what you have and tell you what should stay, what should be replaced, and what will create friction if we try to force it into the system.

Can Pod Bros edit the content we record in our studio?

Yes. Editing and distribution support is available as a monthly add-on. The goal is to keep footage moving from recording to published assets instead of letting it pile up.

Which tier should I pick?

Start with the consult. Home Studio System is usually right for solo or two-person content. Turnkey Podcast Studio is right when the room needs multi-camera polish, client-facing production quality, and team operation.
